at good to go we see our job as coaches is to help you to get clear on your goals, and help you understand the action steps and processes that you need to take to achieve those goals.
Is coaching like therapy?
to be clear - coachign is not therapy, whiel we can get very personal, and delve into your belief syteems and the past in order to help you move forward in the here and now and hte future, if we come across somethng that belongs inthrapy we will let you know.
what kind of advice will you give me?
a coaches role is not to advise but to as questions such that hte client comes up with the asnwers and the processes for their goals, from within them selves.
often we may direct the conversation towards a point that expereince tells it it is best that it goes, however ultimately the client is the one who has all the answers, and it is up to us to create the space for you the client to create your own outcomes.
How does coaching work in a team environment?
When it comes to our mental toughness sessions for teams we work closely with leaders withint he group to understand twhere the team is headed, and comunicating with teams so that they understand the common goal, and the individual role so that the goal of the team is clear and can be brought into reality
what is functional training?
At good to go we define functional training as the use of compound exercises or exercises that create movement over more than one muscle group to cause the body to work ina way that will imporve core and overal strength through more than one plane of movement.
